Is your computer under attack from the deadly virus Personal Guard 2009? Personal Guard 2009 is a bugged, fake antispyware program that will corrupt your computer and record and transmit your personal information. You need to act now to delete this highly dangerous scamware, as it can corrupt your images, videos, and personal files.
Personal Guard 2009 definition :
This virus will pester you non-stop with popups jumping up from your taskbar. It will also have what looks like a fancy looking removal tool icon in the docking bar, when in fact it's a farce. It may look like a useful spyware removal tool, but it is designed to frighten you and record your credit card info, which then be sent to thieves and result in a case of stolen identity. This rogue spyware will pester you with alerts and popups about an infected hard drive. It monitors what you type! This means any and all closely-guarded information that you type into websites can be transmitted to identity thieves!
How I Cleaned Out Personal Guard 2009:
There are manual ways to delete the spyware if you know exactly how to work around your computer registry and delete files from the HKEY_LOCAL_USER folder, but I never suggest that to those of you who do not consider yourself advanced computer users. You must find infected DLL and LNK files associated with the virus and block all websites and system processes related to the virus. If you make a single error, the infection will proliferate once again at the next restart. For these reasons and more, I always choose automatic removal tools instead.
Automatic Removal is the way to go. Consider it "Bob Approved."
I was recently cleaning out my neighbor's family PC and I couldn't risk any lengthy system errors, so I used an automatic scan using one of my personal top 3 reviewed spyware removal programs. After the scan and deletion, the computer was as good as new, and it's now secure against all future viruses and spyware. Would you believe the PC had a popular virus scanner that completely missed the infection? A virus such as Personal Guard will destroy your computer if given the chance. Don't let that happen.
